CAE Foresees Strong Growth and Margin Uplift

CAE expects robust growth in its Civil segment, projecting mid to high teens percentage operating income growth, sustained by robust demand for pilots and training services. The Defense segment aims to amplify profitability by eliminating less profitable Legacy Contracts and enhancing the backlog with better-quality work. The backlog has already expanded by over 20% since refining the Defense unit's capabilities, signaling sustainable growth and laying the foundations for potential wins in significant upcoming Defense contracts. Company leadership is optimistic, with efforts to phase out the aforementioned Legacy Contracts expected to mitigate negative impacts within 6 to 8 quarters, contributing to the anticipation of continued prosperous growth for CAE.
