China Railway Group Ltd
China Railway Group is one of China’s largest construction and engineering contractors. It plans, designs, and builds railways, subways, highways, bridges, tunnels, airports, and large public buildings. It also does surveying and design work before construction starts, and it makes some of the equipment and materials used on big projects. Its main customers are government agencies, state-owned rail and transport companies, and other public or private developers that need large infrastructure built. The company usually makes money by winning engineering and construction contracts, then earning fees for design, project management, civil works, equipment supply, and related services. It also has a smaller property development business in some markets. What makes China Railway Group different is its role across the whole infrastructure chain. It is not just a builder; it can help with early planning, technical design, heavy construction, and long-distance rail and tunnel work that smaller contractors cannot easily handle. That makes it a core contractor for major transport and public works projects in China and abroad.
