Emperador, Inc. operates as a holding company which operates an integrated business of manufacturing, bottling and distributing distilled spirits and other alcoholic beverages from the Philippines, United Kingdom, Spain and Mexico through its wholly-owned subsidiaries. The Company’s segments include Scotch whisky segment, which includes all products sold by Whyte and Mackay Group Limited (WMG), and Brandy segment, which comprises all products sold by Emperador Distillers, Inc., Bodegas Fundador and Domecq BLC. The Company’s brandy and Scotch whisky portfolios include with centuries-old legacies. The firm sells its products under brands, including Emperador, Presidente and Fundador for brandy, Harveys for sherry wine, The Dalmore, Jura, Tamnavulin and Fettercairn for Single Malt Scotch Whisky and John Barr, Claymore and Whyte & Mackay for blended Scotch whisky. In addition to brandy and Scotch whisky, the Company produces sherry, vodka, gin, rum and other liqueur. The company also produces beverages for private labels and bulk liquids such as Scotch whisky, brandy and sherry for companies that sell their own branded beverages.
