Mita Geothermal is a geothermal energy resource located adjacent to Cerro Blanco and is approximately seven kilometers from the Pan American Highway near the town of Asuncion Mita, in the region of Jutiapa in Guatemala. Mita Geothermal is licensed for up to 50 megawatts of clean energy to support the operation of the mine or sell to the national grid.
