Record backlog: ANDRITZ said Q2 was a solid quarter, with order intake of EUR 2.3 billion and a new record backlog after strong Q1 demand.
Profitability improved: Q2 revenue rose 8% to EUR 2.1 billion, EBITDA increased 15% to EUR 182 million, and the EBITDA margin expanded to 8.9%.
Full-year outlook unchanged: Management confirmed 2026 guidance for revenue of EUR 8.0 billion to EUR 8.3 billion and a comparable EBITA margin of 8.7% to 9.1%.
Hydro backlog builds: Hydropower order intake was down in Q2 because of timing, but H1 order intake was up 82% and the segment’s revenue is now starting to convert from backlog.
Cash remains strong: Operating cash flow reached EUR 291 million in H1, free cash flow was EUR 160 million, and net liquidity stood at EUR 593 million.
Questions on strategy: Management said it regularly reviews the portfolio, but does not plan major M&A and still believes the company can reach its EUR 9 billion 2027 revenue target organically.
