The firm's Mining segment is engaged in the mining of manganese ore and iron ore, which is engaged in semi-mechanized manganese ore mining operations and fully mechanized iron ore mining operations. The Ferroalloys segment is engaged in the production of ferromanganese, ferrosilicon, Silicomanganese and ferrochrome. The firm has approximately four coke oven batteries with a cumulative capacity of 0.4 million tons per annum (MTPA), and two waste heat recovery boilers (WHRB) with a cumulative capacity of 30 megawatt (MW). Its subsidiary is Sandur Pellets Private Limited.
