BAB, Inc. engages in the franchising and licensing of bagel and muffin retail units. The company is headquartered in Deerfield, Illinois. The company went IPO on 2000-11-08. The firm has approximately 68 franchise units and three licensed units in operation in over 20 states. The BAB franchised brand consists of units that features daily baked bagels, flavoured cream cheeses, premium coffees, gourmet bagel sandwiches and other related products. The MFM brand consists of units that feature a range of freshly baked muffins and coffees, as well as a variety of specialty bagel sandwiches and related products. The Company’s SweetDuet franchised store offers frozen yogurt and various toppings from which customers prepare their own yogurt creations. Its stores also serve My Favorite Muffin gourmet muffins and Brewster’s Coffee. Its subsidiaries include BAB Systems, Inc, BAB Operations, Inc. and BAB Investments, Inc.
