Nacel Energy Corp. engages developing, owning and operating merchant wind parks. The company is headquartered in Denver, Colorado. The company went IPO on 2007-12-03. The firm is engaged in the business of developing wind power generation facilities from green field (or blank state) up to and including operation. Its domestic development efforts are primarily focused upon wind power generation facilities in the 10 megawatts to 30 megawatts range. As of March 31, 2011, it had six wind energy projects: Blue Creek, Channing Flats, Leila Lake, Hedley Point, Swisher and Snowflake, totaling 185 megawatts or more of potential capacity located on approximately 8,437 acres of land located in the Panhandle area of Texas and northern Arizona. The company is also engaged in efforts to locate and evaluate other green field sites for development of additional wind power generation facilities. As of March 31, 2011, the Company had not operated any wind energy projects.
