Karora Resources, Inc. is a mineral resource company, which engages in the acquisition, exploration, evaluation, and development of base metal and platinum group metal properties. The company is headquartered in Toronto, Ontario. The company went IPO on 2010-12-13. The firm is focused primarily on the acquisition, exploration, evaluation and development of precious metal properties. Its portfolio includes the Beta Hunt Mine (Beta Hunt), Higginsville Gold Operations (HGO) and Spargos Reward Gold Project (Spargos). The company owns 100% of Beta Hunt, a gold producing underground operation with nickel by-product credits located approximately 600 kilometers from Perth in Kambalda, Western Australia. The company owns and operates HGO, which are located approximately 75 kilometers south of the Beta Hunt Mine in Higginsville, Western Australia. The operation includes a 1.6 million tons per annum (Mtpa) processing plant, approximately192 mining tenements including the, Baloo, Pioneer, Fairplay North, Mitchell, Wills, Challenge and Mount Henry deposits. HGO has a mineral gold resource and reserve and prospective land package totaling approximately 1,800 square kilometers.
