The firm is a low-carbon producer of electrolytic manganese precursor materials, used by battery manufacturers for the expanding electric vehicle market. The company operates through its subsidiary in Botswana, namely Menzi Battery (Pty) Limited. The Company’s Kanye Basin Prospects consist of 10 prospecting licenses and include the K.Hill Project, the Otse manganese prospect and the Lobatse manganese prospect, all of which have seen historical mining activities. The firm is engaged in the development of the K.Hill manganese oxide project (K.Hill Project) in Botswana. The firm is undertaking a feasibility study on the K.Hill Project. The preliminary economic assessment (PEA) did not include any production from the B Horizon, the K.Hill Extension or the Otse or Lobatse prospects.
