This region has produces mineral and has the potential to host a variety of deposit types including, low sulphuration epithermal gold and base metal deposits, structurally controlled gold deposits, structurally controlled copper deposits, cobar-style gold and base metal deposits and skarn deposits. The Lucknow Gold Project is located within the Macquarie Arc in New South Wales, which hosts gold and copper mineralization, including the Cadia-Ridgway and McPhillamys deposits, as well as the Browns Creek, Forrest Reefs and Junction Reefs deposits.
