Mangels Industrial SA engages in the production of steel and related products. The firm divides its business into four segments: Steel, Wheels, Cylinders and Galvanizing. In the Steel segment, the Company is involved in the production of steel strips and stamped parts for the automotive, home appliances and civil engineering sectors, among others. In the Wheels segment, it produces aluminum wheels for automobile manufacturers. In the Cylinders segment, Mangels is engaged in the production of cylinders for liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), compressed air and fuel tanks for trucks and buses. In the Galvanizing segment, it is mainly active in the production of highway guardrails and industrial flooring, as well as in the provision of hot dip galvanizing services for steel parts. On November 1, 2013 the Company filed a bankruptcy request to the District of the Capital of Sao Paulo State.
