The firm's activities are divided into two business segments: Industrial and Forestry. The Industrial division focuses on manufacturing wood boards and other wood products for use in the furniture and interior architecture industries in Latin America. Its products range comprises medium density fiberboards (MDFs), particle boards (PBs), melamine boards, medium density particle boards (MDPs), sawn lumber and interior cladding. The Forestry division is responsible for the development and management of pine tree and eucalyptus plantations, plantations of other species, as well as land in Chile, Brazil, Argentina and Venezuela. The firm also distributes products through the Placacentro stores, a network of carpentry and furniture-making stores. The firm is controlled by Masonite International Corp.
