Grupo Mexico is a Mexican industrial holding company best known for mining copper and other metals, and for running one of the country’s largest freight rail networks. Its mining business extracts, processes, and sells copper, molybdenum, silver, zinc, and related byproducts to industrial buyers. Its transportation business moves goods by rail for manufacturers, miners, agriculture, and import-export customers across Mexico and into the U.S. border network.
The company makes money mainly by selling metal products into global commodity markets and by charging freight and logistics fees for rail service. In mining, customers are smelters, fabricators, and other industrial users that need raw materials for construction, wiring, machinery, and energy infrastructure. In rail, the customer base includes companies that need large, regular shipments moved more efficiently than trucks can handle.
What makes Grupo Mexico distinctive is that it sits in two important parts of the value chain: it produces key industrial metals and also controls a major freight artery that helps move bulk goods around the region. That gives it exposure to both commodity demand and transportation demand, while tying it closely to Mexico’s industrial and export economy.

Stock intrinsic value is the real worth of a company's stock, based on its financial health and performance.
Instead of looking at the stock's current market price, which can change due to people's opinions and emotions, intrinsic value helps us understand if a stock is truly a good deal or not.
By focusing on the company's actual financial strength, like its earnings and debts, we can make better decisions about which stocks to buy and when.
