The company operates through two segments: Nutraceutical Products (including production and sales to consumers and business and distribution or third-party products) and Technology Services (including the production of microalgae biomass, consulting, engineering services and the construction of biomass production facilities). Its technology platform grows algae in bioreactors, which are engineered to automatically regulate the inflow of CO2 or nutrients while reducing the need for manual supervision. The algae can be used in the production of nutraceuticals, known as superfoods, and used in diagnostics and therapeutic treatments, aquaculture, animal feeds, and as feedstock in the production of bio foams and algae-based biomaterials.
