What is the Solvency Score?

The Solvency Score rates the strength of a company’s balance sheet and its long-term risk of insolvency on a scale from 0 to 100.

How it is calculated

The score combines leverage, liquidity and bankruptcy-risk indicators, such as debt to equity, interest coverage, the current ratio and the Altman Z-Score. Each indicator is normalized and weighted, and the result is one number from 0 to 100.

How to read the score

The higher the score, the lower the risk of insolvency.

0–34 High risk of insolvency
35–74 Moderate risk
75–100 Low risk of insolvency

You can find the score on the Solvency tab of each stock, together with the ratios behind it.
