Equus Mining Ltd. engages exploration and development of mineral and thermal coal resources. The company is headquartered in Sydney, New South Wales. The firm is principally focused on the historical high-grade gold-silver producing Cerro Bayo mining district in southern Chile. The Company’s projects include Cerro Bayo Mine District, Los Domos and Cerro Diablo Project. The Cerro Bayo District is centered approximately 10 kilometers (km) west of the township of Chile Chico in Chile’s XI Region. The Cerro Bayo Mine District comprises 350 square kilometers (km2) of prospective epithermal gold and silver Brownfields. The Los Domos project is situated in the interpreted northwest extension of the Deseado Massif mineral province, where it extends into southern Chile, which hosts seven operating gold-silver mines, including Cerro Negro, San Jose and Cerro Moro. The Cerro Diablo project is located approximately 25 kilometers to the north-northwest of Mandalay Resources Cerro Bayo mine and flotation processing plant.
