The firm specializes in the provision of brokerage services mainly intended for fixed income, derivatives, equity and foreign exchange (FX) markets, as well as it also provides management of investment portfolios, corporate financing and financial advisory services. As of December 31, 2011, the Company owned such subsidiaries as Somoza Finamex Inversiones SA de CV and Valores Finamex Corporation, as well as a 42% stake in FIMECAP SA de CV. In July 2013, it fully acquired Somoza Finamex Inversiones SA de CV.
