Korea Ratings Corp. engages in the provision of credit rating services. The company is headquartered in Seoul, Seoul. The company went IPO on 2002-02-07. The company operates its business through three divisions: credit rating division, business valuation division and solution division. Its credit rating division assesses debt payment capability of companies and provides rating services of commercial papers, various bonds, guarantors, asset-backed securities (ABS) and others. Its business valuation division provides strategy consulting, business feasibility studies, financial advisory consulting, project finance consulting, real estate consulting, financial advisory consulting and asset management services. Its solution division provides market risk management solutions (RMSs) and others. On January 1, 2013, the Company divested its risk management solution (RMS) business into a newly established wholly owned subsidiary.
