Defiance Silver Corp. is an exploration company, which engages in the acquisition, exploration and evaluation of assets in Mexico. The company is headquartered in Vancouver, British Columbia. The company went IPO on 2008-05-22. The firm's projects include Zacatecas and Tepal. The Zacatecas project areas include San Acacio, Lucita, and Lagartos, located in the state of Zacatecas in the renowned Zacatecas silver mining district in north-central Mexico. The San Acacio is focused on the historic Veta Grande vein system. The Lucita contains the Palenque silver structure, as well as the on-strike extension of the Panuco deposit. The Lagartos lies within the Mala Noche belt. The Tepal project is located in the state of Michoacan, near the border of Jalisco in Western, Mexico. The Tepal project is approximately 170 kilometers south of Guadalajara, and approximately 18 kilometers south of the Jalisco State border.
