Martifer SGPS is a holding company, which engages in metallic construction, retail and warehousing, energy equipment, advanced fuels, and electricity generation business. The firm divides its business into two main segments: Metallic Construction and Solar. In the Metallic Construction area, the Company is involved in the construction of steel structures, glass and aluminum facades, as well as in the manufacture of components for wind turbines, steel towers, and equipment for the offshore and oil industry. Martifer is also active in the construction of industrial and naval projects. In the Solar segment, the Company is engaged in the development of photovoltaic projects and installation of solar energy parks, as well as in the production and distribution of photovoltaic modules. Additionally, the Company develops and constructs projects in the sector of renewable energy, including wind power and bio fuel sectors.
