Prospex Energy Plc is an oil and gas investment company. The firm is building a gas production and electricity generation investment portfolio focused on late stage onshore European opportunities. Its investments include El Romeral Project, Tesorillo Project and Po Valley. The company is acquiring approximately 49.9% interest in the El Romeral gas power project, situated in southern Spain, through its Spanish affiliate, Tarba Energia SL (Tarba), with partner Warrego Energy Ltd. The El Romeral Project has three producing wells, such as El Ciervo-1, Santa Clara-1 and Sevilla-3. The Tesorillo Project in Cadiz Province in southern Spain contains a known gas discovery, which comprises two petroleum exploration licenses, the Tesorillo and Ruedalabola Permits, which cover approximately 38,000 hectares (ha). The company has interest in the Podere Gallina Exploration Permit, which is located onshore northern Italy in the Po Valley Basin.
