The firm conducts its business through an umbrella partnership real estate investment trust (UPREIT), structure in which its properties are owned by wholly owned subsidiaries of its operating partnership, Global Medical REIT L.P. (the Operating Partnership). The company has gross investments of approximately $1.3 billion in real estate properties, consisting of 105 facilities with an aggregate of approximately 4.3 million leasable square feet and approximately $103.1 million of annualized base rent. Its portfolio includes medical office buildings (MOBs), inpatient rehab. facility (IRF), surgical hospital and others. The firm's portfolio is located in various areas, including Texas, Florida, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Arizona, and Illinois.
