Nordic Aqua Partners A/S is engaged in the investment in breeding systems for fish and shellfish. The firm uses cutting-edge Nordic technology and expertise to set up the first fully integrated and commercially scaled Recirculating Aquaculture System (RAS) farm for Atlantic salmon located in Ningbo, China, thus being able to deliver live and locally farmed Atlantic salmon to the Chinese market. The Nordic Aqua facility at Gaotang Island is designed to optimize fish welfare and production efficiency. The firm sources the water from the ocean right next to the facility in the Gaotang Sound, and in the end returns the purified water back to the sea. The firm has one subsidiary, Nordic Aqua (Ningbo) Co Ltd.
