Savannah Energy Plc engages in the acquisition, exploration, evaluation, and development of oil and properties. The firm is engaged in developing energy projects in Nigeria and Niger. Its principal activities are the exploration, development and extraction of oil and gas. In Nigeria, the Company has controlling interests in the Uquo and Stubb Creek oil and gas fields, and the Accugas midstream business in South East Nigeria, which provides gas enabling Nigeria's thermal power generation. In Niger, the Company has license interests covering approximately 50% of the Agadem Rift Basin of South East Niger. The company holds approximately 80% interest in the exploration, development and production of gas within the Uquo field. Its Accugas midstream business focuses on the marketing, processing, distribution and sale of gas to the Nigerian market. The company holds approximately 80% interest in Accugas.
