Galileo Resources Plc engages in the exploration and development of copper, phosphate, and gold-copper. The firm is engaged in the exploration and development of gold, copper, rare-earth aggregates, and iron ore and manganese. The Company’s projects include kalahari copper belt project, Kashitu Project, ferber project, Star Zinc Project, glenover rare earth project and Concordia Copper Project. The company is focused on the Kalahari Copper belt (KCB) in Botswana and Kashitu zinc project in Zambia. The KCB project, approximately 800km long by up to 250km wide, is a northeast-trending Meso-to Neoproterozoic belt that occurs discontinuously from western Namibia and stretches into northern Botswana. The belt contains copper-silver mineralisation, which is generally strata-bound and hosted in metasedimentary rocks of the D’Kar Formation near the contact with the underlying Ngwako Pan Formation. The Kashitu Project is located in the south east corner of Enviro Processing Limited’s (EPL’s) Kabwe Mining License.
