The company is headquartered in The Woodlands, Texas and currently employs 646 full-time employees. The company went IPO on 2010-11-05. The firm operates through four segments: Operating Assets, Master Planned Communities (MPC), Seaport, and Strategic Developments. The Operating Assets segment consists of developed or acquired retail, office, hospitality and multi-family properties along with other real estate investments. Its MPC segment consists of the development and sale of land in large scale, long term community development projects in and around Las Vegas, Nevada; Houston, Texas; Phoenix, Arizona; and Columbia, Maryland. Its Seaport segment consists of approximately 461,000 square feet of restaurant, retail and entertainment properties situated in three primary locations in New York, New York: Pier 17, Historic Area/Uplands and Tin Building. Strategic Developments segment consists of residential condominium and commercial property projects.
