The Company’s principal activities include research and development, seed breeding, oil palm cultivation and milling as well as production and marketing of cooking oil, margarine and shortening products. The firm is also engaged in the cultivation of sugar cane, rubber and other crops. The Company’s business divisions include the Plantations division and the Edible Oils & Fats division. The firm provides crude palm oil (CPO), fresh fruit bunches and other by-products, such as palm kernels. For the consumer market, cooking oils are retailed under Bimoli, Bimoli Spesial, Delima, Amanda and Happy brands, and consumer margarine under Amanda, Palmia and Royal Palmia brands. For the industrial market, cooking oils are supplied directly to Indofood and other food manufacturers, and margarine and shortening marketed to confectioneries, bakeries and food manufacturers under Amanda, Delima, Malinda, Palmia and Simas brands.
