The firm provides its engineering services and products through three business streams: Rail and Road, Power and Propulsion, and Workforce Solutions. The firm operates through six segments: Gemco Rail, Convair Engineering (Convair), Drivetrain, Hedemora Turbo and Diesel, Momentum Rail, and Centre for Excellence in Rail Training (CERT Training). The firm's Gemco Rail segment is engaged in the remanufacture and repair of locomotives, wagons, bearings and other rail products for rail operators and maintainers. Its Convair segment is engaged in the manufacture of bulk pneumatic road tankers and mobile silos for the carriage and storage of construction materials, grains, and other dry bulk materials. Its Drivetrain segment is the provider of technical sales and services to the mining, oil & gas, rail, transport, defense, marine, construction, materials handling, automotive, agriculture, and power generation industries.
