Osisko Mining, Inc. engages in the acquisition, exploration, and development of gold resource properties. The company is headquartered in Toronto, Ontario and currently employs 176 full-time employees. The company went IPO on 2012-12-19. The firm is focused on the acquisition, exploration, and development of precious metal resource properties in Canada. The firm holds a 100% interest in the high-grade Windfall gold deposit located between Val-d'Or and Chibougamau in Quebec and holds a 100% undivided interest in a large area of claims in the surrounding the Urban Barry area and nearby Quvillon area (approximately 2,700 square kilometers). The Windfall property consists of approximately 286 individual claims covering an aggregate area of 12,523 hectares. The Windfall project, located in the Abitibi greenstone belt, Urban Township, Eeyou Istchee James Bay, Quebec, Canada is approximately 700 kilometers north-northwest of Montreal. The Urban Barry properties are located in the Urban Township, in Quebec’s Eeyou Istchee James Bay region. The Quevillon property consists of approximately 2815 individual claims covering an area of 150,163 hectares.
