BMO Commercial Property Trust Ltd. operates as a real estate investment trust. The investment objective of the Company is to provide ordinary shareholders with an attractive level of income together with the potential for capital and income growth from investing in the United Kingdom commercial property portfolio. The firm invests in properties, which the Board, on the advice of the Managers, believes will generate a combination of long-term growth in capital and income for shareholders. The firm invests in a range of sectors, including office, retail and industrial. The firm also invests in residential property and student housing. The firm is permitted to invest approximately 15%, at time of acquisition, of its total assets in indirect property funds, (including other listed property companies) which invest principally in the United Kingdom property. F&C Investment Business Limited is the investment manager of the Fund.
