The company is headquartered in Langmeil, Rheinland-Pfalz and currently employs 318 full-time employees. The company went IPO on 2007-10-10. The firm develops and produces cameras with digital image sensors, integrated personal computers (PCs) and network connection, and are equipped with storage, alarm and telephony functions. The Company’s product portfolio is divided into four product groups: The Cameras product group includes indoor and outdoor cameras, network cameras for day and night, high-resolution cameras and hemispheric cameras, among others; the software products develop video management software; the Home Automation product group includes IP video door stations, adapters, and the Accessories product group comprises cables, lenses and sensors. In addition, it offers various related services, and operates offices in Germany, the United States, Spain, France, Japan and Australia.
