Tesla reported a rebound in its China-made electric vehicle sales in November, with sales rising by nearly 10% compared to the previous month. This marks only the third month in 2025 where the company has seen sales growth in the Chinese market.
Data from the China Passenger Car Association shows that Tesla sold a total of 86,700 vehicles produced at its Shanghai factory in November. This figure includes cars delivered within China as well as exports to Europe and other regions.
The sales boost has been attributed to end-of-year promotions, helping Tesla outperform its largest rival in China, BYD, which saw a decline in sales during the same period.
Despite the positive sales numbers, Tesla's stock experienced only a modest increase, rising by 0.4% in early trading.
