OpenAI Signs $38 Billion Cloud Deal with Amazon Web Services

OpenAI, the company behind ChatGPT, has signed a $38 billion agreement with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to use its cloud computing infrastructure. This is the first time OpenAI is partnering with Amazon for cloud services.
The seven-year deal will allow OpenAI to run and scale its artificial intelligence workloads on AWS's cloud platform. As part of this agreement, OpenAI will have immediate access to Nvidia's powerful graphics processing units (GPUs) through Amazon.
Previously, Microsoft was OpenAI's exclusive cloud provider, but the company has recently started working with other cloud and computing partners, including Nvidia, AMD, and Oracle.
