The joint venture proposes to mine and exports iron ore pellets and concentrates. Its Savage River magnetite iron ore mine is located approximately 100 km southwest of the city of Burnie, which produces iron-concentrated magnetite. Its wholly owned pellet plant and port facility at Port Latta produces iron ore products.
