AECOM engages in the design, build, finance, and operation of infrastructure assets for governments, businesses and organizations. The company is headquartered in Dallas, Texas and currently employs 51,000 full-time employees. The company went IPO on 2007-05-10. The firm operates through three segments: Americas, International, and AECOM Capital (ACAP). The Americas segment provides planning, consulting, architectural and engineering design, and construction and program management services to commercial and government clients in the United States, Canada, and Latin America in end markets, such as transportation, water, government, facilities, environmental, and energy. The International segment offers planning, consulting, architectural and engineering design services and program management to commercial and government clients in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and the Asia-Pacific regions in end markets, such as transportation, water, government, facilities, environmental, and energy. The ACAP segment invests primarily in and develops real estate projects.
