Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co (TSMC) announced that its revenue for May 2025 grew by nearly 40% compared to the same month last year. The company reported consolidated revenue of NT$320.52 billion (about US$10.7 billion) for May.
This strong increase was mainly driven by high demand for chips used in artificial intelligence (AI) products. However, TSMC's revenue in May was 8.3% lower than its record-high sales in April.
TSMC is the world's largest contract chipmaker. It manufactures computer chips for many technology companies.
